At Stripe 3, we are passionate about not only fitness, but also about protecting our environment. One of our missions is to promote sustainability and raise awareness about the importance of conserving resources within our community, and it is also our goal to make a positive impact on our environment.
Stripe 3 sustainable product solutions in 2021 include a shift to recycled polyester in all products by 2024, reduce our carbon footprint by 30% by 2030, and be climate neutral by 2050. In order to achieve these solutions, many of our shoes, jerseys, and other sportswear products are made from recycled polyester, and we are currently working toward our ultimate goal to sell only products that come from recycled materials.
In a mission to end plastic waste, adidas has partnered with Parley for the Oceans to create a line of Primeblue sportswear, which is made from a high-performance recycled-plastic material. This material is collected from trash on its way to landfills or the ocean, so when you purchase a pair of sneakers from our Parley line, you're repurposing almost a dozen disposable water bottles!
We are also integrating the use of Primegreen, a second high-performance material made from recycled polyester, into our new products in order to help reach our sustainability goals.
Our commitment to sustainability also involves supporting environmental organizations that seek to protect our oceans and wildlife. For example, Stripe 3 has contributed financially to the efforts of National Wildlife Refuge and the Sea Shepherds Conservation Society.
By purchasing products at Stripe 3, you can not only reduce your personal impact on the environment, but you can also help us support other organizations who are doing meaningful work for our planet.
